Write to delete@gamana.online with the mobile number on the account, and the word delete.
We send a one-time code to that number to confirm the request is really yours — without it we would be closing accounts on the say-so of whoever sent the email.
We complete verified requests within 30 days, and email you when it is done. There is no charge, and nobody will ring you to talk you out of it.
You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be able to sign in. Email is currently the only route; a delete option inside the apps is on its way, and this page will say so when it lands.
What is deleted
- Your name, mobile number and account
- Your saved places
- Your trip history and the routes recorded for each trip
- Messages between you and your drivers or passengers
- Your device notification tokens
- Ratings you gave and received
- For drivers: your NIC number, uploaded documents and vehicle details
What we have to keep
Not everything can go, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise. These are kept because the law requires it, not because we find them useful:

These are separated from your identity as far as the purpose allows — a tax record needs the amount and the date, not your saved home address.
Before you delete
- Deletion cannot be undone. Signing up again with the same number creates a new, empty account.
- Settle up first. Accounts with a wallet balance, an unpaid seat fee or a trip in progress cannot be closed until those are resolved. We will tell you which applies.
- Download anything you need first — privacy@gamana.online for a copy of your data before you ask us to delete it.
Just want to stop for a while?
You do not have to delete anything. Drivers can go offline and stay off for as long as they like. Passengers can simply not book. Nothing is charged for an idle account, and no seat fee is due while a driver is not working.
